Expert Trucks Exporting: Trucks Exported to Zambia

We were delighted to see 7 Volvo trucks exported to Zambia and start to make there way last month. A returning customer purchased 5 Volvo FH from 2011 to 2013 for his logistics business in Zambia while a new customer purchased 2 more Volvo FH for his business. Both customers were satisfied with the images and videos sent to them as they showed the trucks from all angles and the video showcased the truck started and running.

Shipping Process

The process was made seamless thanks to our Export Team as they handled all paperwork from start to finish including purchase invoice to shipping documents. Our team works hard to ensure that all exporting is a seamless process with no stress reaching the customer. We will keep the customer up to date on every step on the export process allowing a hassle-free experience for our customers.

Once payment has been made, we start the process of shipping. A local haulage company ‘Gateway Transport’ took on the task of collecting all seven trucks and hauling them to Southampton, UK where they would begin the second and final leg of their journey to Walvis Bay, Namibia.

Connections

As the seven trucks made their way to Africa, we kept in touch with customers to let them know an estimated date of arrival then confirmed this date closer to the time. Once this is confirmed, documentation is sent to the customer to allow them to collect the trucks from the port in Walvis Bay. This is sent to the customer via express and protected post.

We are thankful to have loyal customers in Zambia that will choose us as their first port of call when in search for new truck to add to their fleet.
